"Come Lord Jesus, Come" Let me encourage you then to pray those simple words frequently during the days ahead. Pray them, for example, first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Pray them at the bus stop or in the car. Pray them whilst cleaning your teeth or washing up. Pray them in the doctor's surgery or in the checkout queue.
"Come Lord Jesus, Come" I profoundly believe that such straightforward humble prayer goes to the heart of God. Such a way of praying does of course only take a few seconds. But used as a constant refrain throughout the day it will - to use Pope John Paul's lovely phrase - "open wide the doors of our heart to Christ."
